ENRICH in the USA - támogatás az amerikai piacra történő kijutáshoz

Öt új kiírásra lehet pályázni az ENRICH in the USA hálózat (European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs, USA) oldalán. Európai kutatók és innovációs szakemberek, kutatóintézetek, start-upok, kis- és középvállalkozások kaphatnak támogatást az amerikai piacra történő kijutásban. A NearUS néven indult projekttel párhuzamosan két másik kezdeményezés is létezik, hogy Brazíliában és Kínában hozzon létre hasonló központokat. A három hálózat összefoglaló oldala az ENRICH Centres.

Dear Partner,

 

let me announce that five new calls are launched on the ENRICH in the USA (European Network of Research and Innovation Centres and Hubs, USA) project website. European researchers and innovators, research institutes, start-ups and SME-s can get support through these calls for entering the US-market.

The project was called originally NearUS and it was started with two other projects which had the aim to establish centres in Brasil and China. The three networks can be reached on the ENRICH Centres website.

You can find all relevant information about the current calls below. Please take a closer look at the opportunities and we highly recommend you to subscribe to our newsletter on our website and to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

East Coast Innovation Tour
Greater Boston & Greater New York

ENRICH in the USA, organizes its first East Coast Innovation Tour as vehicle for commercialising promising EU research and technologies. Join us to discover the Greater Boston and Greater New York in June 10th – 15th, 2018. This first East Coast Innovation Tour is open to EU Member States and Associated Countries early stage entrepreneurs, researchers, research organizations, and clusters looking for market information, partners, investment opportunities and feedbacks for their for their life science innovations; special focus on innovations in cancer research, diagnostics and treatments, and drug discovery. This service gives you the opportunity to:

·  Understand the local US ecosystem (East Coast focus) that supports Innovation;

·  Have live feedbacks on your project(s)/prototype/business plan;

·  Explore opportunities of funding in the US;

·  Meet potential partners;

·  Understand & better leverage ENRICH in the USA support.

Research Connection Symposium (RCS) Washington D.C.

 

Service date: Tentative 8th August 2018

 

ENRICH in the USA, organizes the ENRICH in the USA Research Connection Symposium (RCS) taking place August 8th, 2018. The RCS is open to EU Member States and Associated Countries researchers, research managers and administrators, research universities, and national academies of science looking for a US counterpart to collaborate on their research. This service gives you the opportunity to:

·  Meet potential partners;

·  Understand & better leverage ENRICH in the USA support;

·  Explore opportunities of funding in the US.

The Symposium will be the first ENRICH in the USA Research Connection Symposium, held in tandem with NCURA’s Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. (August 5-8, 2018). This symposium will connect EU researchers and research administrators to their U.S. counterparts, enabling collaboration and potential joint research endeavours.

Research Commercialization
Bootcamp

 

Service date: October 2018

 

ENRICH in the USA, organizes two-week Boot Camps in the United Sates and provides participants with perspectives on their market in various US regions. All Boot Camp participants will start and end the program in Boston where they will receive an introductory course in “Conducting Business in the US” and engage in unique networking opportunities with local innovation experts. In between, participants will each be hosted for up to 10 days by a certified Soft Landing site in the US which will provide programming/services especially themed to the various industry sectors and matched to the needs of each applicant. 
In preparation for the Boot Camps, a pre-departure workshop will be provided to ensure the participants make the most of their two weeks in the US.
 
Tentative Schedule 
Day 1 – 2: This course covers two days of corporate culture, US-based resources for product development, legal matters, human resources and other basics leading to successful commercialization in the USA.
Day 3 – 12: By Day 3 of the program, participants will then travel to a Soft Landing site (participant must arrange and cover their own travel) that has been assigned to them based on their US market of interest and that site’s particular resources available to entrepreneurs within the US ecosystem. Each day, regardless of which site participants are assigned to, InBIA staff will host or arrange a one to two hour course on relevant business and/or product development topics, including, but not limited to:

·  Early stage research and commercialization funding options in the US

·  Identifying and developing research and/or startup partnerships

·  Intellectual property strategies

·  Market research and business plan development

·  Other topics relevant to successful commercialization of research and technology from early stage start-ups in the US.

Day 13 – 14: On the last two days of the Boot Camp, participants will come back to Boston for a pitch event their idea/demonstrate their product to strategic corporate partners and investors from renowned firms throughout New England and the US.

Business to Business
Bootcamp

Pre-Announcement: Spring 2018 Match & Pitch Event

 

European entrepreneurs, researchers, or university/private lab Technology Transfer officials are welcome to apply to present their products, services or intellectual property at the ENRICH in the USA’s Spring 2018 Match & Pitch Event.

Selected innovators will be provided matchmaking opportunities with representatives from at least thirty different corporations and investors in the energy & environment, healthcare, or defense & homeland security sectors.

Participants will have the chance to pitch about their companies or technology, and get feedback from these potential customers/investors.

This Event will be held in conjunction with the 32nd International Conference on Business Incubation in Dallas, Texas, USA, and hosted on April 25, 2018.

Don’t miss this chance to find out what large customers are looking for when looking for small business suppliers and innovative technology!
