For a Sustainable Economy - Cross Regional Professional Cooperation

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, the small‑scale partnership project KA210‑ADU‑000256676 has resulted in one of its key professional outputs: the Service Providers’ Database Supporting Sustainable Development. The initiative was created through the international cooperation of BOKIK, SKIK and Marco Polo G.E.I.E.

Project Strategic Objectives:
The primary objective of the partnership was to integrate a sustainability‑oriented mindset into economic processes. The project focused on developing the competences of chamber staff and market actors, facilitating the exchange of good practices, and establishing a relevant professional knowledge base.

Methodology and Content of the Database:
Over a six‑month period of systematic data collection and validation, the three partner organisations mapped enterprises in their regions whose activities directly contribute to sustainable development. The resulting database:

  • contains a structured list of service providers and their contact details,
  • details the sustainability‑related activities and services they offer,
  • supports searchability and contact initiation through a transparent structure.

Long‑Term Impact and Utilisation:
The collection serves as a gap‑filling tool in building a conscious business ecosystem. It facilitates direct connections between service providers and clients committed to sustainability, thereby promoting the greening of the local economy and supporting the long‑term development of the regions involved in the project.
